Sedum Rubrotinctum commonly known as Jelly-Beans or Pork and beans. It’s a colourful succulent, in the summer time its leaves changes from green to bright red and it bears yellow flowers in the spring time. Jelly bean is beautiful succulent plant does best in hot, sunny apartment balcony gardens and will look best as a ground cover in plant containers. Jelly bean plant leaves are delicate and can fall off easily.
Sedum Rubrotinctum prefers full sun in mild summer, part shade in hot climates.
Water the jelly bean plant more in the spring and summer, best to use the “soak and dry” method, and the soil to dry out completely between watering.
This plant prefers well-drained soil.
